Sexual Assault of Black Women: A Non-Issue for Black Organizations?

September 1, 2011  |

When a dozen or so boys were arrested in Cleveland, Texas for the rape of an 11 year-old child (of a Hispanic background), Quanell X, leader of the New Black Panther Party, held a town hall meeting. Why? Because he was more concerned about the welfare and treatment of these “promising” young black boys whose lives may be ruined (ruined!) by a ‘child harlot.’ What struck me most was that the meeting was mostly composed of women–not a man in sight.  All the women gathered in support of their sons, seemingly without a thought or concern for the future of the child who was violated, and whose life will forever be altered by this event.

Another recent rape like this happened in Chicago, but worse.  An 18-year-old mentally disabled girl was kidnapped from her home and raped by a train of black men and boys in a basement.  The line of disgusting offenders snaked up the stairs as word spread in the neighborhood about a girl giving it up for free.  Did I mention this teenager has the mind of a four-year-old toddler?  Yet, the boy on the newscast says “she wanted it” because she was just laying there.

Bossip recently reported a case where a mother crossed state lines to get her 12-year-old adopted daughter an abortion at 22-weeks pregnant in order to protect her biological son, who raped the girl. Are you kidding me?
