1. Meditate on a mantra when things get hectic.
I just returned from an international family reunion so things started getting hairy before we even set foot in the country. Immigration is no joke. When you feel the toxins starting to build up in your body focus in on something positive. If merely thinking happy thoughts aren’t enough for you take it a step further and say your mantra out loud so you can hear it. Everyone’s triggers are different, so I’ll let you come up with your own saying but make sure it’s something that allows you to see the bigger picture instead of focusing on this one moment of discomfort.
