6. The Final Scene in Poetic Justice

I know I wasn’t the only one rooting for Tupac and Janet to take their romance from the reel into real life. Jackson’s character Justice is tortured, defensive and battling demons from the past, while Tupac’s character Lucky (and his dirty fingernails) is just trying to find his way in a world where the odds are against him. In that infamous journey in a mail truck, they deal with dramatic friends, death and pain and realize that they might just have a chance at happiness if they explore a new road together. When Lucky walks into the salon with his daughter and Janet’s eyes light up as bright as her newfound white top, you can almost hear Usher’s “There Goes My Baby” playing in the background. (OK, it was actually an amazing song by Babyface called “Well Alright” that played, but you catch my drift).
These are just a few of my faves, but I know there are a lot more scenes you caught yourself watching through watery eyes. What are some of your favorite romantic scenes?
