It happens all the time: You make eye contact, he makes eye contact, and you think he’s coming over. So you put your camera in selfie mode, make sure your makeup is right, and wait for him to approach. But then, he just doesn’t…and you have no idea where things went left. So what happened?
The short story? He probably chickened out. Men may technically be responsible for approaching women in most social situations, but sometimes it’s hard out here for a guy. Even a confident man doesn’t always have the nerve to risk getting rejected by you in front of your whole crew, or the rest of the people in the room watching you. So what do you do?
Just switching a few things about the way you carry yourself when you’re out can give a guy the green light to let him know it’s cool to follow up on that eye contact and make the first move.
