There’s a questionnaire

Before a physician can prescribe the medication to you, you must answer a series of questions. Some of those questions include “In the past, was your level of sexual desire or interest good and satisfying to you?” You can read the full questionnaire on Addyi.com.

It works on the brain

Rather than working on the genitals, the way male viagra does, Flibanserin works on the brain. It’s similar to an antidepressant, in that it enhances feel-good chemicals like dopamine, says Ibtimes.com.
