Glam Alert: The Best Dressed Stars At The Golden Globes
Last night, the who’s who of Hollywood attended the 73rd Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills. A night celebrating the year’s best in film and television, the fanfare wouldn’t be complete without a roundup of the best dressed stars, most of whom walked the red carpet wearing simple yet elegant gowns and traditional, solid colors. Did any of your fave looks make the cut?
The How To Get Away With Murder star sparkled from head to toe in a celestial blue and silver gown by Marchesa.
Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne, who was Miss Golden Globe, dazzled in this ethereal, off-white dress by Paolo Sebastian.
A simple, elegant black dress (this one by Badgley Mischka) will always do the trick.
Jada Pinkett Smith
Should anyone else have tried to pull off this dress, they might have looked like they were going to Emerald City. But the flowy, green Versace gown does wonders for Pinkett Smith, along with the side slit that allowed her to show just enough leg.
Yellow is definitely JLo’s color, as evidenced by this playful, flirty, yet elegant dress by Giambattista Valli. Talk about making a statement. Oh, and the Harry Winston diamonds on her neck are a bonus.
The Golden Globe winner wore a simple, custom Versace dress with some exaggerated, yet classic details.
The only star on the red carpet wearing a print, Jaimie Alexander (of Blindspot) stood out in her green and black gown by Genny with its plunging neckline.
Her sleek white dress by Elizabeth Kennedy and its round train are a definite fashion yes.
Her gold Calvin Klein number brought just the right amount of sparkle to the red carpet.
Taraji P. Henson
Though she had to tell folks to get off her long train, Taraji kept things simple and classy in this Stella McCartney dress.
Her off the shoulder Zac Posen gown was the perfect mix between classy and comfy.
