Lifetime Releases First Trailer For Toni Braxton Biopic, “Unbreak My Heart” [Watch]

December 17, 2015  |

As we told you earlier this week, Toni Braxton’s Lifetime biopic, Unbreak My Heart, is set for a premiere date of January 23. And as we get closer to the new year, the network has released a first teaser trailer to boost anticipation. And so far, so good!

As the biopic is based on Braxton’s successful 2014 memoir of the same name, it will tackle all the things she shared in that book, including the ups and downs she’s had in the music industry, her financial struggles, her relationship woes, raising her autistic son, Diezel, and of course, her health problems. The preview trailer shows star Lex Scott Davis as the singer throughout her career, including a scary scene where the star is being rushed to the hospital.

Check out the preview for yourself and let us know what you think. The biopic will be produced by Kenneth “Babyface Edmonds,” and not only will Braxton contribute to the project (other Lifetime biopics have been without the support of the artists or the family’s of the artists who are the subject), she will appear in the film as herself.
