Give Up One Friend, Be Ready to Lose Another
If you freely bail on one friend, what makes you think your partner won’t find fault with others? It’s like chess. Wait, bad example. Better yet, Jenga. One piece falls, a whole bunch of other ones are bound to hit the floor too. Some people want to be your all and your everything (which is soooo weird), and friends who take up too much of your time might be seen as a hindrance to that powerful position. Let one of your friends, even of the same sex, question the intentions of your man or woman and watch things get ugly. So be aware of that. You lose your power when you start giving up too much.
