Would You Ditch a Friend of the Opposite Sex if Your Partner Asked You To?

They Probably Don’t Know if They Can Really Trust You At All

While a relationship can not work without compromise, it sure as hell can’t survive without trust. Many people who can’t stand their man or woman’s friends often say something to the effect of: “It’s not that I don’t trust you, I don’t trust THEM.” Even if that’s the case, they should have enough trust or belief in you to know that you wouldn’t fall victim to the advances of a friend if said come ons ever come about. Being paranoid about it is not healthy for a relationship. If they still act a fool about your friendship after a while, as in, starting up big arguments and hitting you up incessantly when you’re out with your friends to do a role call to see if the-friend-that-won’t-be-named is there, then it’s safe to say they don’t trust you and you might be better off looking elsewhere.
