Would You Ditch a Friend of the Opposite Sex if Your Partner Asked You To?

Last Time You Checked Your License, You Were Grown

My mother always taught me that as an adult, other adults shouldn’t get to dictate what you do, nor have a hand in what friendships you decide to keep or walk away from. If your mate doesn’t pay your bills, put clothes on your back or put food on your table, then they had better learn to deal. Now if something happens between you and your friend (more than a friendly connection if you know what I mean) during the course of your relationship, for one, shame on you. Secondly, maybe then it’s time you need to separate yourself from that person. But if there’s nothing really going on between you and your homeskillet, why cut off a good thing for someone who has already proven to be hard to please?
