Strength Of Nature Acquires Motions, Just For Me, And More

December 2, 2015  |

All of your favorite hair care brands are about to be under one corporate roof as Strength of Nature (SON) has just acquired Motions, Just for Me, Consort, and Groom & Clean brands from Unilever. This news comes right on the heels of SON Global’s acquisition of the TCB brand’s business in Africa, making the company full owner of TCB.

“Strength of Nature is committed to serving the hair care needs of people with textured hair from curly to coily,” Global Marketing Director Charlene Dance said in a news release. “We want to ensure that this consumer has unlimited hair maintenance and styling options for their particular hair type, and are very excited to add these brands to our portfolio.”

So far the U.S.-based company which has manufacturing facilities in Savannah, GA, has made good on that commitment. Strength of Nature currently markets a number of leading brands like African Pride, Beautiful Textures, Dream Kids, Elasta QP, Profectiv MegaGrowth, Soft & Beautiful, and Soft & Beautiful Botanicals at affordable prices so women don’t have to choose between their budget and beauty. With the addition of a legacy brand like Motions which has been a salon and home favorite of women of color for more than 20 years, plus the Just For Me brand we all came to know and love as kids, we expect great things to come for our curls and coils.
