Will Success Spoil Crown Heights?
(Crain’s) Nizjoni Granville has called Crown Heights home for 30 years, but her time there may be running out. She has no plans to leave her block of stately brownstones and handsome limestone apartment buildings. But a substantial swath of Ms. Granville’s Brooklyn neighborhood is effectively being annexed, as real estate brokers and others increasingly refer to it as part of Prospect Heights—the trendier, pricier community to the west. “I don’t have too many kind thoughts about those people,” said Ms. Granville.
