Last month, video model Bernice Burgos and her adult daughter, Ashley Burgos, launched their Bold & Beautiful sleepwear line, which aims to provide comfortable yet sexy nighttime apparel to women of all sizes. Currently, the line offers three items: The Sleepy Romantic bralette and short set, The Sport It Up top and short set, and Ash, the three-quarter onesie.

“Bold & Beautiful was created to offer women a flexible option for nightwear or lounging around while at home,” Bernice explained in a press release. “I felt there was a gap in sleepwear options and wanted to create a line that serves multiple purposes and still manages to make a woman feel sexy. I’m really excited to have my daughter included in the process of creating and developing this line because it allows me to encourage an entrepreneurial spirit within her, while getting insight to make this collection relevant to women of various ages.”

I’m typically a tank top and shorts or nightgown kind of girl when it comes to bedtime apparel. I don’t really like when something fits too snuggly while I’m trying to sleep. So although I was excited to try one of the items from the collection, I was slightly concerned that they would be too restricting. However, I was wowed from the moment I received the Ash onesie set in the mail.

The Ash, priced at $53.99, is crafted from micro nylon and spandex material that is extremely soft to the touch. It’s stretchy and capable of conforming to any body type. When I finally tried the set on at home, I was equally amazed. First of all, it did a spectacular job of drawing attention to my better assets, while taking attention away from a problem area for me. It clung to my body perfectly, without giving me camel toe. It was comfortable enough for me to cook and clean it, but it was still cute enough to feel sexy heading to bed in. It was also quite warm.

The only challenge I faced was actually getting into the onesie. The buttons don’t actually open, and there are no zippers, so it took me a second to notice that I had to step into it and pull it up. However, once I realized that the set’s V-neck was wide enough to fit over my hips, it was smooth sailing. The other thing that I appreciated was that while the neckline is open, it doesn’t expose an overwhelming amount of cleavage, which can get annoying and uncomfortable at times.

It seems that Bernice and her daughter are onto something and I look forward to future releases from this collection. I’ll definitely be adding the Ash to my sleepwear rotation. It’s perfect for spending a night in with the Mr. or simply for enjoying a lazy Saturday around the house. Whatever you choose to do while wearing it, you’ll definitely be cute.
