Women Face Sexual Abuse Charges After Forcibly Twerking On Man
The D.C. Metro Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying two women who were caught on camera sexually harassing a man inside of a Washington, D.C. convenience store, the New York Daily News reports.
The incident occurred on October 7 at the store located along the 1700 block of New York Ave., NE. Surveillance footage shows the women, who wore tight dresses and high heels, pushing up on, hugging and holding the man as held his phone and cash. At one point in the video, one of the women can be seen backing up in front of the victim and attempting to twerk on him. At another point, one of the suspects can be seen reaching for his money and cell phone. All the while, it appears that the victim is trying to get away from them.
Both women face third-degree sexual abuse charges. This degree of sex abuse “involves actual force, threats putting the person in fear of death, bodily injury or kidnapping,” and includes inappropriate touching, according to D.C. law.
