After letting the world know in July that she would be having her first child with husband Todd Tucker, Kandi Burruss is now sharing the sex of the little bun in her oven.
While on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show this week, the 39-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star let the cat out of the bag: “We’re having a boy.”
Any new addition to a family is a blessing, but Burruss and Tucker, 42, are especially excited because they both have daughters from previous relationships and were hoping for a son. Now that they know a Todd Jr. is on his way, it might sound like the obvious next step to name their child just that.
“I don’t want to,” Burruss said. “We can’t agree on names right now. We keep going back and forth. So if anybody’s got any good names, tweet ’em to me! Help me out.”
As for her pregnancy, Burruss told the good folks at RSMS that she has been lucky not to have had many food cravings or much morning sickness. And on days when she looks and feels less than glowy, the mom-to-be said she prefers to stay at home and out of the spotlight.
“I’ve just been trying to lay low,” Burruss said. “I don’t want a whole bunch of pregnancy pictures of me out places, and I gotta look back and I was looking crazy.”
Again, this will be Burruss’s second child as she already has 13-year-old Riley. Tucker also has a 19-year-old daughter named Kaela. In case you forgot, the couple met on the set of RHOA when Tucker was a producer for the reality show.
As for names, what about Kellen Tucker? Or Terrence? As long as it’s not a fusion of their names (Tandi won’t cut it, okay?), baby Tucker will be just fine–and very cute!
