Shady Study Ranks Cities Where The Most (And Least) Attractive People Reside
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder—or is it?
Researchers with the Clover dating application apparently believe that they know what makes a person attractive, so they conducted a study based on levels of attractiveness by location. They later published an infographic ranking the top cities and states where the “most attractive” and “least attractive” users reside.
Connecticut was listed as the number one state where attractive women are found, while Manhattan, NY was considered to be the number one city.
On the flipside, Mississippi is was ranked as the top state where the least attractive women live, while Oklahoma City, OK was dubbed the top city.
Of course, they couldn’t leave the fellas out. Montana was found to have the most attractive men; Jacksonville, FL was said to be the number one city to find attractive men.
Rhode Island was ranked as the number one state where ugly men are found; and Sunnyvale, CA was supposedly the number one city.
According to Clover’s blog, the data for this study was collected from its users last month with the help of a ranking system; however, they did not specify exactly how they arrived at these findings.
If you’re unfamiliar, Clover a free iOS dating app that is said to be the love child of Tinder and OkCupid. It is known for its On-Demand dating feature, which allows users to pick a location and time for a date while the Clover system goes to work to find a date for them.
