5 Halloween Costume Trends For Kids And Tweens
The countdown is on! Most likely the young people in your life have already told you what they wanted to be for Halloween but if not, here are five red hot trends for 2015. Take note that at least three of them work for both boys and girls.
My Little Pony
My Little Pony is huge for 2015 and if your sweet love bug is already a big fan of this classic cartoon then she will love this My Little Pony Child Rainbow Dash Tutu Dress ($19.99) and if you’re up for a bit of DIY you can always create a rainbow colored tutu and match it up with a teeny sized My Lil Pony tee.
Star Wars costumes are HUGE this year with The Force Awakens leading the trend. Even though the movie won’t hit theaters until December little Finn’s (shown here) ($30) and Rey’s ($30)will be very popular this year. Also check out this toddler-sized Darth Vader onesie!
Frozen Fever –Elsa Rules!
You’re probably more than familiar with all things Frozen and Elsa and now with the release of the Frozen Fever short there are more costumes than ever! We especially like this Elsa Costume Supreme ($40) that is complete with a glitter-print sheer overlay and a flowered headband.
Of course the most popular flick of the summer will have your young one wanting to dress up as a Minion! And frankly they are so cool and adorable looking, that we are already on board! Check out this costume on Halloweencostumes.com ($20) This is another DIY costume by the way, just put them in overalls and a hat and they are good to go and works well for both sexes.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The mutant turtles are back and bigger than ever, with a trillion new costume styles to choose from. We’re digging this Raphael version ($30) for a young girl and of course the classic Raphael costume ($29) is always a great option!
is not only cute, but really comfortable too!
