3 Injured, 1 In Custody Following Alabama Church Shooting
A woman, an infant and a pastor were injured early Sunday morning during a shooting that occurred at Oasis Church in East Selma, Alabama.
According to CBS News, the suspect has been identified as James Minter, who has since been arrested. However, neither Minter age or hometown were immediately available, but it is known that he is a Black male.
Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson says the “shooting stemmed form a domestic issue between Minter and the woman and that race was not a factor.” Jackson further explained that the pastor is White and the other victims are Black.
Minter has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and is being held without bond at the Dallas County jail.
