JFK Airport TSA Agent Allegedly Steals Passenger’s $7K Watch

One Transportation Security Administration (TSA) worker at New York’s JFK Airport is under lots of fire after a passenger’s pricey wrist watch went missing.

According to authorities, TSA screener Margo Louree-Grant, 41, was busted stealing Bindoo Ahluwalia’s luxury watch. The white diamond encrusted time piece retails for a high-ticket price of $7,000. Security cameras show Louree-Grant swiping the watch around Wednesday (Aug. 26) afternoon.

After passing through security with flying colors, Ahluwalia forgetfully walked away from the area without his watch, leaving it in the security bin. Louree-Grant sntached the watch and proceeded to the restroom, according to Port Authority police. However, when co-workers began searching for the timepiece she nervously destroyed it. She quit her job soon after.

Louree-Grant was arrested Wednesday (Sept. 2) night and charged with grand larceny and official misconduct. She is due back in court of Sept. 24 and faces up to seven years in prison if convicted, officials said.
