Here For It: Regina Hall And Jessica Williams To Star In Indie Romantic Comedy

August 13, 2015  |

Around here, we love us some Regina Hall. So we always have our ears and eyes to the ground, waiting to see what project or endeavor she’ll take on next.

We were happy to learn that she’ll be starring in a new project People Places, Things. The comedy, which is likely an Indie film, comes to theaters on limited release this Friday, August 14.

Regina Hall and our other boo Jessica Williams have some meaty supporting roles.

Williams plays Kat, a student of the lead actor, (Jemaine Clement), who is the father of two young girls, trying to get his life back on track after he discovers his longtime girlfriend cheating on him.

And Hall will play Kat’s mother, an accomplished literature professor at Columbia.

Hall’s performance is already being celebrated. The Playlist called Hall’s performance “pitch perfect.”

Nice.
