With so many George Foreman grills sold (over 100 million since it was first launched), a lot of people might forget that Foreman used to be a boxer. He fought a classic fight with Joe Frazier in Kingston Jamaica in 1973, and a “Rumble in the Jungle” with Muhammad Ali in 1974. It is not known exactly how much Foreman was paid in the endorsement deal for the rights to use his name, but it is clear it was more than he ever earned inside the ring. He also launched a line of cleaning solutions called George Forman’s Knock-Out.
