Pass Or Play? SWV Returns With “Ain’t No Man”

August 10, 2015  |

Music heads are constantly debating whether or not R&B is dead. While I definitely feel that the genre isn’t thriving like it used to, every once in a while, R&B lovers like myself are blessed with gems like the one recently dropped by SWV.

On their new single, “Ain’t No Man,” the singers-turned-reality-stars address the difference between getting with a real man as opposed to settling for a “little boy” pretending to be a man.

Ain’t nothing like a man
No, no little boys for me
I don’t do rookies, to get with me you got to own the team
Ain’t no man like the one I’ve got.

The track is the first single to be debuted from their untitled album, which is scheduled for an October 30 release, Billboard reports.

Following the single’s August 7 debut, it quickly shot to number four on the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 Chart. We can certainly see why. This one is definitely a pass for us.

Check out “Ain’t No Man” below and let us know if you’re passing or playing.
