Hours after the tragic death of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Bobby Brown released a statement mourning the aspiring actress’ untimely death.
“Krissy was and is an angel,” Brown said of the 22-year-old in a statement, according to Us Weekly. “I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable.”
According to the R&B singer’s attorney Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, the young heiress put up a fight to get well since late January when she was found unresponsive in a bathtub.
“Yesterday Bobbi Kristina Brown took her place in heaven,” said Brown’s attorney. “Krissy fought to get well for months; however, she has succumbed to her injuries.”
The young woman’s death was confirmed Sunday evening by relatives who say that she was surrounded by loved ones when she transitioned.
“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family,” the family told Us. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
We send our prayers to the Houston and Brown families during the difficult time.
