It’s going down now – July 10th! Yes mamas! The Minions Movie is in theaters nationwide. It is summer break and we are sure the kids are creating a bit of mischief around the house – so get them to the theaters now! (It’s also a little break for you too!)

Here is the scoop! The editors at Mommynoire are known to have their ears to the streets. We heard via a few of our favorite blogger friends who attended the Family Food Festival in Atlanta, the BET Experience in Los Angeles and the Essence Festival in New Orleans that the Minions were buzzing around, causing mischief and making their presence known.  According to Trina Small from Babyshopaholic.com, Vanessa Barnett from Stilettosandsippycups.com, Turkesha McIvy from Naturalbabydol.com and Koereyelle DuBose from thesinglewivesclub.com, the Minions popped up at some of these key spaces in all of their splendor. We salute them!

So why are the Minions causing so much havoc? In our last post about the Minions we noted:

The new movie begins at the dawn of time.  We get to see just how these single-celled yellow organisms, evolve through the ages, serving the most despicable of masters.  Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters—from T. rex to Napoleon—the Minions are searching for a new king and fall into a deep depression as they come up empty-handed.

However, one Minion named Kevin has a plan! He alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob—ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.

The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super-villain.

Kind of sounds like my son Kannon Ball!

Now that we’ve gotten the fun details out of the way regarding the Minions Movie and exclusive giveaway, let’s recap some of our bloggers favorite moments with those Mischievous Minions at Family Food Festival in Atlanta, the BET Experience in Los Angeles and Essence Festival in New Orleans this past month!

According to Koereyelle Dubose, when she arrived at the Essence Festival, she noticed that the Minions figurines were trying to steal the show:

Wow, they even sat back in silence during Iyanla Vanzant’s presentation:

Turkesha McIvy found the Minions sitting on her press pass!

Blogger, Vanessa Barnett saw the Minions being mischievous at the BET Experience in Los Angeles! They were front and center.

We heard they even made their way into Nicki Minaj’s concert at the BET Experience. Boy, they are bold!

Fab mommy blogger, Trina Small from Baby Shopaholic noted at the Family Food Festival during Father’s Day weekend that the Minions were caught climbing on pineapples so they could get some fresh braised cabbage. Yummy!

They were even spotted making donuts with Sweet Dreams Mini Donuts.

I guess its fair to say that the Minions made their rounds over the last few weeks! Maybe they will settle down when we watch the movie…maybe not! They are so full of mischief!
