Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West are pretty much always in the gossip and entertainment news and this time it’s not because Kanye was acting up at an award show.
The West family recently celebrated their daughter North’s second birthday and soon after rumors started floating around that Kanye kicked 60 kids out of Chuck E. Cheese so that North could play alone. Well, Mr. West has denied those claims and called into Hot 97 on Thursday to defend himself. He chatted about the birthday and went on to talk about how boring he is now.
“I haven’t even been to Chuck E. Cheese, but I’m glad that I heard that [rumor] so I could intercept it,” says West, adding, “It’s a constant thing of when, and not just particularly a black man, but a celebrity being used as a punching bag…. As far as Chuck E. Cheese go, they should be paying me to even say they name.”
“You saw evidence of where we go, we rent out the whole stadium,” says West, referring to his birthday party earlier this week at Staples Center in Los Angeles. “We not going to be kicking nobody’s kids out of Chuck E. Cheese… What I’m gonna do at Chuck E. Cheese.”
Not only did Kanye deny his Chuck E. Cheese rumors but he also talked about how happy he is to the radio station.
“I’m completely boring, actually”…”I’m just living my life,” he said. “I’m having a good time, I’m with my family, and I’m getting the opportunity to create, work on my clothes, work on my films, work on DONDA, work on the next album, work on it slowly, make it an art project, deliver the innovation I know and that I’ve consistently done since 808s and ‘Dark Fantasy.’ I’m in my own zone. I can’t walk around trying to defend myself and chime in on everything.”
