A little girl who has inspired millions of people is still battling cancer. Leah Still is the daughter of Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still.
The 5-year-old had surgery previously to remove a tumor and recently her dad wrote a post on Instagram asking fans for prayers for a possibly life threatening liver problem.
“I need some prayers sent up for Leah tonight! We hit a pretty serious complication from the stem cell transplant called VOD. They caught it early so hopefully it gives the doctors a better chance of stopping it from getting aggressive. As you can imagine our minds are all over the place but we’re going to try and remain positive! #LeahStrong,”
Leah is diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of pediatric cancer. And while their family was filled with joy that her cancer was in remission in March, they still have a journey to recovery ahead of them.
Her dads team, The Bengals made headlines in 2014 when they sold Stills jersey and raised and donated more than $1 million to fight pediatric cancer.
