All moms may agree, the more time spent with your mini-me, the better. Have you ever tried doing your daily Yoga and mediation routines with your little one? The co-founder of Two Fit Moms Laura Kasperzak keeps us inspired to try it. Just take a look at her instagram page, the Yoga instructor practices yoga with her mini me and posts the most adorable photos and videos. FitPregancy.com reported that the “The National Association of Sports and Physical Education (NASPE) recommends that infants get daily physical activity, and yoga is a great, gentle place to start—and the perfect way to ease your baby into a lifelong appreciation for exercise.”
There are many ways to introduce your child to the yoga practice. Prep your little one by letting them know that yoga is fun and shouldn’t feel like a task. It’s a place where the both of you can go to relax, breathe and feel better. Create poses together (of course first show your baby their options and let them choose the pose that best fits them.) Not to mention, it’s a great opportunity for you both to bond. Before you know it, your child will be used to the practice and they’ll be looking forward to it.
