Nick Cannon Reportedly Releasing A Book About His Marriage
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got married in 2008, had their twins Moroccan and Monroe in 2011, and they are now going through a messy divorce. Nick has already been reportedly seen on dates and recently Mariah has been seen hanging out and taking trips with Bret Ratner.
Nick Cannon signed a deal last week and will be releasing a book with Simon and Schuster. The book is reportedly a tell all about his marriage to Mariah Carey and is fueled by his frustration that he couldn’t get the amount of money he wanted in their divorce settlement. The news was confirmed with The Daily Mail and an insider also gave them the scoop on the gist of the book.
According to the Daily Mail:
Simon & Schuster has confirmed to Daily Mail Online that the book is being published by Gallery Books, an imprint of the high-powered publisher.
‘Nick says he is going to tell the world about Mariah’s drug use, her strange eating habits, psychosis, what she has said about other artists, her sexual proclivities and her parenting skills. It which will really be hurtful,’ the insider continued.
‘And Nick is also going to explain why he thinks he should have full custody of the twins. Mariah has admitted she never wanted children and Nick is going to tell the world why she felt that way.
‘If Nick was not willing to spill all of their nasty and salacious secrets he would not have gotten a book deal. So obviously, Simon and Schuster feel this is going to be a blockbuster and they signed him up.’
Mariah Carey may just get through all of this and come out on top because in an interview with Christianity Today years back she said her faith keeps her strong.
“I do believe that I have been born again in a lot of ways. I think what I’ve changed are my priorities and my relationships with God. I feel the difference when I don’t have my private moments to pray. … I’m a fighter, but I learned that I’m not in charge. Whatever God wants to happen is what’s going to happen. I feel like I’ve had endless second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth chances. It’s by the grace of God I’m still here.”
