Did Jada Pinkett Smith Ban Her Kids From The Jenners?

Jaden Smith and Kylie Jenner were rumored to be dating for about three years until there was news that the two split last year. Well, according to a source that told Ok! Magazine, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have banned their kids from hanging with Kylie and Kendall Jenner. The parents are reportedly not a fan of the girls new sexy image they are putting out to the world.

The insider told OK! magazine in the February 25th edition: ”They’ve having a hard time convincing Jaden that they have his best interests at heart. He can’t understand why his parents suddenly don’t trust his judgement.”

A source said: ”Will and Jada were never fans of the Kardashian clan. But after learning about Kendall and Kylie’s recent antics, they don’t want Willow and Jaden associating with the girls anymore.”

”At this point they feel that the entire reality TV family has built an empire on shock value – and they don’t want their kids to be pawns in a low-level fame game. They say mingling with the Jenners could ruin the kids’ images.”

Jada and Will have faced criticism for their “relaxed” approach to parenting. Even though Jada talked to Edit magazine about letting kids be themselves, if these rumors are true, she probably figured it was time to step in…

“I want my kids to be happy and I want them to be themselves. I was saying to a friend the other day, ‘Remember, our kids are not us.’ They’re not. Sometimes we’re trying to fix things that happened to us or projecting [onto them], and that’s a terrible, terrible trap.”

She also had this to say in an interview with Health magazine:
“People have always gotten on us about not punishing the kids, and let me just talk to you about that for a minute. We raised three kids before Willow and Jaden, and especially on my goddaughter, I put so many boundaries on her — ‘No, you can’t do that, you can’t do this.’ And everything I tried to control, every freakin’ thing I was trying to avoid, happened.”
