Christmas is coming and we’re narrowing down every last detail, from what food will be served, what the kids will wear and games played to how well we need to stock the bar. The hustle and the bustle of the holiday season picking up and we can see the BIG finish on the horizon. Yes, y’all Christmas is just under a week away. And while we’re still scrambling to find just the right gifts for a few loved ones, wrapping others and toasting the season with party after party, one thing we haven’t put much thought into is what we’re going to wear on Christmas day!

It’s not generally a day that a lot women outfit plan for the way we do for say, New Year’s Eve but it is a special occasion and we still want to look our best. Growing up we remember our parents feeling the need to put us in our dressiest clothes because it was such a big holiday but also knowing that we were among family and friends and they could honestly care less what we had on. Depending on what side of the country you live on, the weather can dictate a lot of your style choices if you have to be out and about it in. We love a simple jeans and sweater look paired with heels or edgy ankle boots but we also love the idea of going all out and glamming it up a bit. Of course skirts are sort of the best of both worlds combining dressy and casual depending on the accessories and we are all about mixing things up to keep our look fresh.

Whether you’re heading out to visit family, hosting a small spread at home, or simply have plans to stay in your PJ’s all day in a gift coma with a Netflix marathon on in the background, we took the time to pull together some outfits to get you inspired about your holiday looks.  Everything from over the top glam; think tulle skirts and sparkly sweaters to rocking that winter white in a seasonally inspired way that isn’t too fussy.
