Let’s be honest we’re all a little bit in love with some aspect of the fashion portion of Scandal as much as we are the well-written characters we’ve come to know and love. As with most shows that become larger than life, the fashion has played a huge part in the show from how we perceive each character to what their style of dress (color, patterns etc.) means about their relationships to each other and within the show. I mean, a whole collection was born out of American women’s obsession with the characters style (namely Olivia).

And if you’ll recall from past seasons, Olivia’s style and signature color palette (black and white with muted neutrals) dictate a lot about her character arc. Last season she was in a transition of sorts so she wasn’t as much of a bad*ss with the all-white ensembles. But this season has already put her in pristine white once again so we’re all but certain “it’s handled.” Our girl has gotten her mojo back and we couldn’t be happier. But all that aside, there is some killer style happening on the show.

Because while the ladies are navigating a myriad of relationship and career drama and matters of state loom over their heads, one thing they have in common is exceptional clothing. We wouldn’t mind the drama so much if it meant raiding a wardrobe or two. Each woman has her own signature style and over the last four seasons we’ve seen it evolve to what it is now. Olivia is known for her crisp monochromatic looks, while Abby’s polished and posh work wear is understated chic, Quinn went from polish & pretty to casual cool and even “Smelly Mellie” has a style while meandering around the West Wing before she cleans up her act.

We thought if we were excited about the fashion, surely our readers must be as well right? So, here are our 11 favorite sartorial statements from this season. Tell us, did we miss anything?
