To Infinity and Beyond: 10 Life Lessons We All Learned From Toy Story
Disney Pixar just announced that Toy Story 4 will be coming to theaters June 2017. It will be 22 years after the original was released (I know, right? 22 years? Where has the time gone?). The Toy Story franchise is one of the few in which the sequels have yet to disappoint. The original writing team from the first two films will be returning, and have said to be kicking around the idea for some time now.
We can’t lie… we’re pretty excited about it. And well, we’d like to think everyone is (if not go re-watch, it’s okay we’ll wait). The ending of Toy Story 3 was more than touching and seemed like a great way for the movie franchise to end even though a part of us didn’t want it to. The announcement has us all reminiscing (no judgement zone) on what the Toy Story movies have taught us about life. What? You thought it was all laughs? Remember that fire scene in Toy Story 3? You don’t go through the fire to not come out with a few lessons to teach. These lessons are ones we’ve definitely used time and time again. So, in the words of our good friends Buzz Lightyear “To Infinity and Beyond!” Let’s get to the lessons.
