Throwback Thursday: 10 “Good-Bad” Movies We Love

Chris Rock plays a Washington DC alderman who is chosen to run when a presidential candidate unexpectedly passes away…and wins (Is it really a spoiler alert if the film is eleven years old?).  His campaign manager is played by Bernie Mac hilariously who slaps everyone in the film.  Once again, the plot is ridiculous.  But it’s Chris Rock so of course it’s funny.  The plot was also preposterous because the idea of a black person running and becoming president seemed like a punch line in 2003.  The joke is on all of us now.  The charm: the whole film is narrated by Nate Dogg.
