By the last month of school the majority of moms have checked out and are longing for more relaxed days of no homework, projects and class donations. It can be taxing managing it all, but then comes summer, oh, sweet summer, and its homework free days full of relaxation and fun seem so enticing and full of promise. But that’s not always the reality. If you’re a work-at-home mom you now have children and their myriad of needs to contend with while you continue to tend to household and work responsibilities. You’re not on vacation, they are. But you still want to enjoy them and make the most of their time off.
However, at this point school’s out and everyone is in the full summer swing of things by now. The glow of the first few weeks has worn off and the natives are getting restless.
