New Video: Robin Thicke ‘Get Her Back’

June 25, 2014  |

I think it’s safe to say that Paula Patton has a lot of work on her hands.

Robin Thicke is continuing his public apologies to estranged wife, actress Patton, who left him a few months ago, with his new single and video “Get Her Back.” Of course. We get it Robin, you’ve been with Paula since you were a teen, lusted after her in high school and serenaded her with Jodeci songs, so when trying to win back your love, you do it with a song…or 14 songs to be exact. Robin’s seventh album, titled Paula, is the follow-up to the international smash Blurred Lines which brought a level of success that many folks blamed for their split. We’re not sure about all that, but we do wonder if this is the way to get Paula back. Would you be surprised if she downloaded the album and was like, yep, I’m going back!?

Paula Tracklisting:

1. “You’re My Fantasy”
2. “Get Her Back”
3. “Still Madly Crazy”
4. “Lock the Door”
5. “Whatever I Want”
6. “Living in New York City”
7. “Love Can Grow Back”
8. “Black Tar Cloud”
9. “Too Little Too Late”
10. “Tippy Toes”
11. “Something Bad”
12. “The Opposite of Me”
13. “Time of Your Life”
14. “Forever Love”

Paula arrives July 1st.

In the black and white video, Robin sings straight into the camera, no shirt, sad eyes: I gotta get her, go get her, go get her, go get her back as text messages pop up on the screen with sayings like “You drink too much” and “You embarrassed me.” Hmmm. Random gorgeous women pop up in the background. Hmmm. Then, all of a sudden, Robin’s face is all bloodied. And then there’s the message: “This is just the beginning.”

On the real, the couple seemed great together and their son, Julian Fuego, looked like the icing on their cake. No one wants to see a couple break up, but we also don’t want to see two people who aren’t meant to be together forever getting back just to save face.

Looks like we’re in for a Robin Thicke ride…

Do public displays of affection and attention win you back, no matter what damage has been done? Can you see Paula getting back with Robin?
