Super Food Lunch Box: Turkey, Bacon, and Avocado Panini

We have been coveting the super food Avocado for some time now, it has all those “good fats” that trigger your body to hush the hunger and can help belly fat melt away. Now, we’re putting this super food in almost everything – like our lunch Panini! And, it’s awesome. This Turkey, Bacon and Avocado Panini will not only satisfy your hunger, but will certainly get your taste buds dancing. No pork for you? No problem! Substitute for Turkey Bacon and get back to the enjoyment. Pair with your favorite fruit and lunch is served!

The below makes 1 sandwich


1 Ciabatta Sandwich Roll
2 slices of mozzarella cheese
1/4 medium tomato, sliced
5 thin slices of Turkey
3 slices bacon, cut in half and cooked {for a total of 6 pieces}
1/4 avocado, mashed
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. salted butter



Cut your Sandwich Roll in half.
On one half, layer the cheese, tomato slices, turkey, and bacon.
On the other half of bread, spread the mashed avocado and sprinkle with salt.
Press the two halves of bread together and then butter each side with 1/2 tsp. butter.

Cook on medium/low heat in a frying pan or on George Foreman, until both sides are lightly browned and cheese is melted.
