Gabrielle Union Talks Becoming a Stepmom on “Queen Latifah Show”
After a messy month or so, Gabrielle Union got to turn things around with her appearance on “The Queen Latifah Show”. The actress talked about the success of her new show and about forming a family with fiance Dwyane Wade.
She told Queen,
“You know, it’s been a journey. It’s been a journey to boogers. To boogers and flash cards and first heartbreaks and school dances and math homework. We got this amazing gift at a second chance. He just asked me to commit to trying, to put our family back together, to make our family whole. The trying to do the work, led to doing the work, led to us thriving because of the work, which led to this amazing proposal where my family literally asked me to marry them. When life gives you a new beginning, you take it and run with it.”
Boogers and flash cards, huh? Sounds like parenting to me. It’s really nice to see her so excited about her family. I think she pretty much silences the people who accuse her of just wanting to be with an NBA player for the sake of being with an NBA player. It definitely sounds like family comes first for Ms. Union.
What do you think of her chat with Queen Latifah?
