On December 12, 13-year-old Jahi McMath was probably thinking about all the ice cream she was going to eat after getting her tonsils taken out. But very rare complications left the Oakland teen brain dead and since then, her parents have fought to keep her on life support. Late last night, a California judge ruled that the girl would stay on life support for at least another week.

Now, donations from across the country are pouring in to help the family transfer their daughter to a hospital in New York. They need at least $28,000 to get her across the country.

It’s a really heartbreaking story, and there’s no good end to this. No parent wants to watch them die, but there’s no way this little girl can come back and be who they used to love. Do you think doctors should pull the plug?
