Tameka Raymond Goes Back to Court to Get Custody of Sons
After her son Usher V nearly died in a scary pool accident earlier this month, Tameka Raymond took her ex-husband Usher to court to try to gain custody. She was denied but she’s revamped her legal team and is ready to try again, reports the Hip-Hop Enquirer.
She appeared in court yesterday with a new attorney, seeking more time with her sons. However, Usher’s attorneys were present without the singer himself. The judge ordered counsel to chambers and a date has been set in October for both parents to appear in court.
Last summer, Tameka lost her 11-year-old son after a water skiing accident, so it’s understandable the pool accident has her shaken up. It’s reported she’s long had issues with Usher’s aunt, the woman who most often looks after Usher and Naviyd in the singer’s absence. Is she taking things too far?
