Usher’s Ex-Wife Seeks Custody of Children After Pool Accident
One day after a serious pool accident landed Usher’s oldest son in the intensive care unit, the singer’s ex wife is now seeking primary custody of their two sons, reports TMZ. Usher currently has primary custody while Tameka Raymond has limited custodial rights and she hopes to change that.
In court documents filed with the Fulton County courts in Georgia, Tameka accused her ex-husband of “abdicating his parental responsibilities” and putting the boys in the care of people who aren’t responsible caregivers. In the past, she’s also complained about Usher’s aunt, who was watching the boys when the 5-year-old’s arm got caught in a pool drain at the singer’s home. The aunt is supposedly too harsh with her physical punishment and allegedly let a stalker into the house.
Just last summer, Tameka lost her 11-year-old son in after a jet skiing accident. It’s completely understandable that this latest incident would scare her to the point where she’d want to do something drastic but is she right? Children need to be protected but completely switching up their world can be pretty traumatic in and of itself. Should the kids go to Tameka?
