The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Meijer, the maker of Fall Creek jeans, is recalling about 140,500 pairs of infant and toddler jeans. No children have been harmed, but they manufacturer is concerned about the snap closure separating from the jeans and posing a choking hazard to small children. The jeans have been sold at Meijer and HEB retailers between June 2012 and November 2012 in sizes 12M to 5T. Jeans feature a heart or star design on the front leg and back pocket and have also been sold in cargo styles. Not included in the recall are Fall Creek Kids jeans with production code 04/2012 on the tag in sizes 0-3 mos, 3-6 mos. or 6-9 mos.

If you’ve bought these jeans for your children, stop using them immediately and bring them to the customer service desk and your local Meijer store. For more information, call Meijer at 1 (800) 927-8699 anytime.
