The Reviews Are In: Will Ta-Nehisi Coates’ New Book Become A Bestseller?

When Black America is reeling with injustice after injustice, it is often voices such as Ta-Nehisi Coates’, award-winning national correspondent for The Atlantic, that are able to come in and elicit empathy, contextualize and educate others on the realities of race relations in the US.

Coates’ latest book, Between the World and Me, is set to gives us more of what we appreciate most about his writing. From The New York Times to Slate magazine, the reviews are rolling in. Inspired by the late James Baldwin’s The Fire Next Time, let’s see if Coates has lit a fire that will set the bestsellers list ablaze.
