The family of a Brooklyn teen is frantically searching for answers following her disappearance.
Yojavi Ayarza, 17, was last seen Wednesday, July 8 at approximately 2:30 am, according to a report by the New York Daily News. Footage of Yojavi leaving her grandmother’s apartment in Lefferts Gardens located on Lefferts Ave and Nostrand Ave. was captured by surveillance cameras; however, her intended destination is unclear.
According to the teen’s heartbroken mother, Yovi, Yojavi was last seen wearing a white sleeveless top and gray shorts.
“Everybody in this world knows how much I love my only child,” Yovi pleaded on Facebook. “My heart is bleeding. I can’t live without my daughter. Please help me!”
Relatives believe that the teen may have harmed herself. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
