Lupe Fiasco wasn’t the only rapper to take the time to write an open letter after nine were murdered inside of the Charleston, South Carolina A.M.E. church. Nas wrote an open letter on Instagram to America in hopes of galvanizing a call to action for everyone to move forward instead of backward. “We are supposed to stand for freedom & equal opportunity,” he wrote. “This is BIGGER than BLACK and WHITE.
