11. One Of You Is Going Away In The Fall
One of the surest signs that what you have is just for the summer is if either one of you will go to (or back to) college in the fall. College is the perfect time for a lot of people to start fresh, and usually that means ditching the person you were hanging out with all summer. If your boyfriend is going away to college, chances are he’s going as a single guy, and if the school is out of state, then the chances are that much greater. And if you’re the one headed off, he might think that you’re not looking for anything serious.
