So, What Was Beyoncé’s Big Announcement?

If you watched the last night’s NBA finals game, you likely saw a commercial that Beyoncé was going to be making a huge announcement on “Good Morning America” today. And since we generally love Beyoncé’s surprise announcements, (i.e. her pregnancy, the album), our ears perked up, wondering what she could possibly have to say this time.

Well, she’s not pregnant again and there isn’t a new digital drop to stop the world.

Instead, according to USA Today, Beyoncé wants to talk to us about eating more vegetables.

We’re sure all of our mothers will be happy about this but it’s not exactly a “snatching wigs” moment.

Still, since Beyoncé is known for “giving us life,” telling us to embrace a vegan diet is something like improving the quality of it right? #Reach.

The singer said, I’m not naturally the thinnest woman. I have curves. have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works and keeps the weight off has been difficult for me.”

And she finally found a solution with her trainer Marco Borges. Borges also has a 22 Days book and meal delivery service. 22 days because there is a belief that that is how long it takes to break a habit.

The vegan diet encourages plant-based selections over processed foods, exercise for at least 30 minutes a day and drinking plenty of water.

Beyoncé says that the nutritional changes made a difference in her overall appearance.

“I felt like my skin was really firm–a lot tighter than when I deprived myself of food–and the weight stayed off.”
