Kim really did start from the bottom. Before becoming one of the most famous rappers of all time, Kim was 15 and homeless, struggling to make it on her own:
“My mom was really a queen, but she just kind of got caught up in the wrong roads. I’ve fought a lot on the streets because I had to.
When you’re on the streets, people feel like they can do anything to you because you’ve got nothing and don’t have anybody.”
