Fan Sues Miguel Two Years After Billboard Music Award Leg Drop Incident
Two years ago, “Adorn” singer Miguel leaped from the stage during his Billboard Music Awards performance and unfortunately, landed on fans. Although it has long been forgotten by the public, one woman, Cindy Tsai, has filed a lawsuit about it.
According to TMZ, Tsai is suing the singer and hotel to help cover her medical expenses and lost wages. Interestingly enough the woman, Khyati Shah, who had a head injury because of Miguel, planned but did not file any lawsuits against the singer. Billboard Magazine says Miguel and Shah resolved the incident after the award show ended. He told them, “I think it’s kind of clear what happened. But I’m very happy to bring my new friend, Khyati, we just met. Unfortunately, we did not meet under the best circumstances, but I think we’re okay.”
In the original report of this case, Cindy Tsai’s name was not listed as one of the victims injured during the performance. Below is a clip from the Miguel’s 2013 performance.
Do you think it’s suspicious Tsai waited so long to file a lawsuit regarding the incident?
