If The Shoe Fits: Zendaya Debuts Her New Footwear Collection
Everyone seemed to be wowing it at this year’s Met Gala. And while Beyoncé might have stolen the night with here nearly see-through Givenchy gown, many were also buzzing about young actress Zendaya Coleman the night before. Zendaya wore a pair air of strappy stilettos from her own fall shoe collection, offering us a sneak peek (below).
Then, at the actual event the K.C. Undercover star, who made waves at the Oscars with her faux dreadlocks, used the Met Gala to debut her first-ever line of footwear. For the brand she has partnered with her longtime stylist Law Roach on the back-to-school shoe line, reports The Daily Mail.
“I want to make affordable shoes of quality that are very fashion forward, chic, and that I’m going to wear,” she told InStyle last month. “We plan on doing the best of everything. We’re going to create a good sneaker, and we’re going to do a cute flat.”
Coleman, who will drop her second studio album this spring, has made a pretty smart move going into footwear. The growing industry is a $48 billion a year industry. That’s a lot of shoes.
