One of your favorite actresses is set to release a memoir.
Cookie Lyon aka Taraji P. Henson recently announced she will be releasing a memoir via 37 Ink/Atria Publishing Group. According to the USA Today, The publishers say the book will be about Henson’s life growing up in a rough-and-tumble neighborhood of Washington, D.C., her close family, the challenges she has faced raising a son as a single mom and her ascent from aspiring star to actual star.
“I know Taraji Henson will bring the same magnetism and dynamism to the page that she brings to the screen,” said publisher Dawn Davis in a statement.
“Beyond the glamour, beyond the larger-than-life persona, Taraji Henson exudes an every-woman quality that her audience, which grew with each episode of Empire, can relate to.”
The memoir will be expected in mid-2016. We’re so ready for this book! Congrats Taraji!
